ABCD (Assessment-Based Client Designs) Plan and Protocol Service

The ABCD Service gives you a training plan based on your assessment data. It is for BioExplorer and Infiniti users just starting out doing the TLC7 Assessment and also for experienced trainers who want a second opinion in certain cases.

You will receive a video analysis of your assessment and use of the recommended designs.

ABCD PROCEDURE

1. BioExplorer users will need only the BioExplorer design, TLC7 guide (instruction manual), and Client Report form. If you do not already have these, download the ABCD Package (0.7 MB).

2. Infiniti users will need the entire TLC7 package for Infiniti (go to bottom of linked page), as you will be sending us the completed Assessment.

3. Following the instructions, perform a couple of data gathering sessions, checking to be sure you have a good signal and understand the process. Contact us with any questions.

4. Fill out the Client Report Form for the trainee. Take particular care with the Performance Objectives. The more specific and less general they are, the better we will be able to focus on your best training options.

5. Have the trainee fill out the Issues section (page 2) of the Form.

6. Have one or more significant people in the trainee’s support system fill out the Issues section as well, answering the questions about the trainee.

7. Gather the Assessment data. You will have 6-9 sets of 3 minutes of data, one minute each of Eyes Closed, Eyes Open, and Task data. Do all 6 standard site pairs and as many of the three optional pairs as you wish. Use the regular or 4C design, depending on your amplifier.

8. BioExplorer users select Option 1 below and place your order. (Select Option 3 ONLY if you are an experienced artifacter and user of the Assessment.) Then following the instructions in the Guide, email us the Client Report Forms and sessions files.

9. Infiniti users select Option 3 below and place your order. Load the data and process the Assessment according to the instruciotns. Then email us the completed TLC7 and the Client Report Forms.

10. If desired, return here and select the additional option of Training Supervision (#2.)

ABCD PLAN OPTIONS

1. Standard ABCD service. We will review your data to be sure it is a good recording. If not, we will email you back with suggestions for improvement. Once we have a good recording from you, we will import the data into the TLC7A Assessment spreadsheet, evaluate the artifacting of the data, making any necessary corrections, perform and analyze the assessment, and develop training plans for all the significant training issues we see, up to 6 training plans. We include recommendations for the TLC designs to be used. We will email or fax to you the Assessment and the training plans within 4 working days.

2. Training Supervision. An option you can add to the ABCD service you have chosen. Up to 4 hours during the first 3 months to help with any or all of the following: producing an assessment, reviewing the training plan, testing the training plan, adjusting protocols, choosing the best protocol, changing protocols, designing your training sessions or any other issues of interest to the client. These are handled via e-mail, phone contact and/or online screen-sharing as appropriate. Like having an experienced trainer looking over your shoulder during the crucial implementation period for your plan. Your TLC supervisor will make the calls to you and TLC handles purchase of the screen-sharing software.

3. Plan-Only ABCD service. This option is for Infiniti users and ONLY for those BioExplorer users highly experienced at using the TLC7a assessment, getting a good EEG signal, and evaluating artifact. With this option, you send us the completed TLC7 (Infiniti users) or TLC7a (BioExplorer users) Assessment (an Excel file).

The results you get from us will only be as good as the information you send us. If the data is faulty, we may not be able to tell from looking only at the Assessment. We strongly suggest that BioExplorer users, at least the first time you use the service, select the Standard service above. Process the data into the assessment in parallel with us, and see how close the results are before deciding you can provide the completed assessment yourself.

We will develop up to 6 training plans and recommended designs for you and email or fax the plans within 4 working days.

REFUND POLICY

Once the plans are in your hands, we have no control over how accurately you place the electrodes and assign them to appropriate channels in the amplifier, we can't change the targets if they are left too hard or too easy, we can't motivate resistant clients or deal with battles between trainer and client. Those, and many other complications, can affect the success of the training. We also can't be there to observe the results of training.

For these reasons, we do not offer refunds for the ABCD Plan Options or Additional Services.

Our Plans are produced by experienced trainers who are also very skilled with the assessment tool. It's highly likely that one or more of these will produce a result if you work with them properly and stay with the ones that work.
