Configure the channels you need
Use Optima for EEG as well as supported peripheral biosignals, depending on the model and sensors.
Neurobit Optimaâ„¢
Choose 2 or 4 channels, USB or BLE, and the sensor configuration that fits the way you work.
Optima is a family of small, configurable devices for neurofeedback, biofeedback, research and education. The differences between models are practical: channel count, access to the Optima+ extension interface, EEG-cap support and your choice of USB or wireless BLE.
Use Optima for EEG as well as supported peripheral biosignals, depending on the model and sensors.
The family ranges from a straightforward two-channel setup to a four-channel Optima+ system with an EEG-cap interface.
Optima works with Neurobit software, Brain-Trainer workflows and a range of supported third-party applications.
Depending on the model and sensors, Optima can be configured for brain, muscle, cardiac and other physiological signals. Optima+ models add an extension interface for additional supported sensors.
Brain, eye-movement and slow-potential signal acquisition for supported workflows.
Cardiac, heart-rate and muscle-activity measurement for biofeedback applications.
Skin conductance, temperature, respiratory effort and airflow; supported Optima+ configurations also add BVP and other compatible peripheral-sensor options.
Exact capabilities depend on the device model, sensors and software configuration.
1. Do you need 2 or 4 channels?
2. Do you need the Optima+ extension interface or EEG-cap support?
3. Do you prefer a fixed USB connection or wireless BLE?
Two channels
The straightforward choice when two configurable measurement channels are enough.
Use it for EEG and supported peripheral biosignals without the Optima+ extension interface.
Connection USB · BLE
Two channels + extension
Choose this when you need two channels plus the Optima+ extension interface.
The extension interface adds support for additional compatible sensors and modalities.
Connection USB · BLE
Four channels + extension
Start here if you need four configurable channels or an EEG cap.
Optima+ 4 combines four channels, the extension interface and software-configurable EEG-cap connections.
Connection USB · BLE
Tell us which signals you want to measure, how many EEG channels you need and which software you use. We can help narrow it down.
If the device will stay at one workstation most of the time, USB is usually the simpler choice. BLE is useful when fewer cables or more freedom of movement matter.
USB
Power and data travel over USB, with a galvanically isolated connection to the computer. There is no device battery to manage.
BLE
BLE models run on batteries and send data over Bluetooth Low Energy, which can be useful for mobile or less cable-dependent setups.
