Games 004 fix (released on Apr-24-2022)
– Flash loader did not open
– BioEra upgraded to version 4.201
– Added support for two new devices: Vilistus and BrainMaster Atlantis
– New designs included: CON4C MBC and CON4C Sync
– Added session statistics panel. To open it, click on the button next to the signal tester
– Implemented artifact filter, which works in real time during the session. To activate it, check the option “Artifact filter”. The filter is applied to the signal that goes to the spectra, thresholds, graphs, statistics and feedback. The oscilloscope always shows the original signal (without filtering). The signal tester shows the original signal both on the oscilloscope and in the spectra. Therefore, the result shown in the signal tester spectra may be different from the one shown in the main design screen. Next to the artifact filter checkbox, there is a signal quality indicator. Green light indicates that the system did not identify an artifact at that time and the original signal is being used. Red light indicates a potential artifact has been detected and the filter has been activated to remove it.
– The signal tester has been modified to show only the channels that are actually being trained in the design. The other channels show a straight line on the oscilloscope and no activity in the spectrum.
– Added a new game:
Gravity: It’s a very simple game that reflects the client’s performance on all targets being trained. Once opened, the game starts automatically when you press play on the design. The goal is to keep the ball in the air for as long as possible and as high as possible. The height of the ball depends on the performance on each of the targets. The number in the center of the ball indicates how long it has been floating without touching the ground. At the top, there’s an item showing the longest hold time. Upon reaching all targets simultaneously and sustaining this condition for at least 1 second, the ball begins to gradually change its color. Each additional second increases the score recorded in Score. Click on any parameter on the top to reset it.
– Changes in the Shadow module: added a “Recalibrate” button which resets the buffer if the shadow is not behaving as expected. Added new source option: “moving range”. This new option sets the highest and lowest values received in the last 30 seconds as lightest and darkest states of the shadow.
Video is in production
Corrections:
– Corrected the pause function in playback mode, so now it’s possible to resume from pause.
– Corrected the success rate property in FRE1+ to make it possible to set the desired rate.
– Corrected issue that was keeping 2-channel devices from showing the signal in the signal tester in the TQ design.
– Corrected the saving function in MVC.
– Corrected the click sound in MVC.
– Corrected the threshold element, which was sending inverted ratio values while in decrease mode (this is an important correction since this function was affecting the shadow in continuous ratios mode).Improvements:
– Added session average value to the threshold bars
– Added the option to pause the design at specific intervals
– Improved shadow feedback in “number of met targets” mode
– Improved the function for the MIDI sounds to keep them from stopping during the first 30 seconds
– Added DAM game (replacing 3D Racer)
– Added different settings of the Neurobit Optima+ 4 USB to the list of devices. Now it’s not necessary to open device configuration to choose the configuration file.
– Added the option to select the COM port for PN Wiz devices in case the FTDI driver can’t find it.
– New method for switching the device. In this version, you can simply select the device on the list and it will be recognized with no need of reloading the design. This new method also prevents some problems that were happening occasionally with certain devices.
– The way the program gets data from PN Wiz devices was changed. Now it’s not necessary to select a serial port (COM port) anymore as the program can automatically detect in which port the amplifier is connected. This improvement wasn’t largely tested so far, so any feedback about it will be greatly appreciated.
– Now it’s possible to change the properties of the click sound.
– Corrected the issue of the clicking sound during pauses.
– Now it’s possible to define where the recording files will be saved on the computer.
– FRE%1C: now the sliders keep the last values that were used. New buttons were added as shortcuts to some usual bands.
– New preset protocols to FRE1+: Trauma Release (1C) and Windowed Squash (4C). Selecting Trauma Release automatically changes the success rates of the thresholds, so there’s a new button that resets the thresholds to the default values.
– The threshold element was improved and now the Properties menu includes more options.
– Neurobit Optima runtime window was updated.
– The LIFE game (for HEG) has a new version.
