Known Issues
Controls
– Sometimes it’s difficult to click on specific buttons, both in thresholds and in the configuration panel.
Temporary solution: Try clicking on different parts of the button. Usually, it will work by clicking on any of its corners.
Display
– If the text of the display is crowded and distorted, you may need to adjust your screen resolution to .1920×1080 and set the scale to 100%.
Error message
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

- Go to C:/Program FIles (x86)/Brain-Trainer/BT2
Delete the “Brain-Trainer” folder that is inside BT2’s folder. - Run the launcher from the desktop icon and it will reinstall the program.
Feedback
– Sometimes, the music feedback stops in the middle of the session.
Temporary solution: Pressing “pause” and then “play” resumes playback.
– Occasionally, some instruments in the music feedback go out of sync. This mainly occurs when the same design is running for the second time onwards.
Temporary solution: If this happens, exit the design and open it again.
– Media player: at times, a video from the playlist may play twice in a row, or a video from the playlist may be skipped.

– Alpha-Theta design: sometimes, a song in the sequence is skipped, or a song plays twice in a row.

– Shadow feedback in FRE Amplitude and FRE Summed designs: When making changes to enable/disable a filter after the design is already running, the shadow may respond incorrectly.
Temporary solution: Only press play after the design is fully configured and avoid making changes while it is in progress.
– Alpha-Up design: one of the sounds associated with the “10 Hz/Alpha” bar only plays correctly the second time the design is executed.
Temporary solution: After pressing play, press stop and then play again.
TQ Recording stops
– On some machines the TQ map recording will stop after ~15 seconds reporting that only 22 seconds of data are collected. Our developers believe they have resolved this issue.
Temporary solution: Delete the recording and start again.
