Admin permissions – Macromed Flash folder

  1. Right-click on the Flash folder and click Properties.
  2. Click the Security tab, and click Advanced
  3. Click Change
  4. In the box, type the name “Everyone” and click OK.
  5. With the “Everyone” option selected, click OK
  6. Check the two boxes “Replace owner…” and “Replace all child…” Now click OK.

    If both boxes do not appear…

    …for SysWOW64, repeat:

    1. Click Change.
    2. In the box, type the name “Everyone” and click “Check names.”
    3. With The “Everyone” option selected, click OK.
    4. Check the two boxes “Replace owner…” and “Replace all child…”  Now click OK.

    …for System32, try without the “Replace all child..”  box.

  7. Click Yes.
  8. Click Yes.
  9. Click Edit in the Flash Properties window. (If you do not see the window, look behind the Macromed folder.)
  10. Click add
  11. In the box, type the name “Everyone”..
  12. With the Everyone option selected, click OK.
  13. With the Everyone option selected, check the “Full control” box and click OK.
  14. Click yes Click OK and delete the FLASH folder
  15. Click OK and delete the Flash folder.
